The shortlist of finalists for this years sought-after INCA Awards has been published. A total of 28 finalists have been announced across the eight awards categories.
The independent panel of judges – which this year comprises Ros Singleton, CEO of Spring Fibre, and Chair of the UK5G Advisory Board, Itret Latif, CEO of the Federation of Communications Services (FCS), Barry Forde, Melissa Cogavin, Managing Editor of Broadband Journal for the SCTE, and Ian Adkins from specialist telecoms advisory firm Analysys Mason – have had their work cut out, with a record number of entries to sift through, analyse and rank.
"It's been a generally very positive year for the AltNet sector, and this has been reflected in the record number of nominations that we've received for the 2022 INCA Awards Programme, said INCA CEO Malcolm Corbett. "The standard remains very high, and that has given our judges a challenge, to which they have risen very effectively. I'd like to pay tribute to their work, as well as to everyone who has submitted an entry this year. We've got a strong shortlist as a result, and I'm now very much looking forward to our special Awards Dinner where the ultimate winners will be recognised.
