Following the GigaTAG report, Ofcom setup a Working Group on Common standards for consumer information describing broadband products. This met regularly online with the objective:
To develop and agree common standards [for consumer information] the WG members will adopt and recommend.

Ofcom published a position paper after several working groups and discussions with companies. INCA submitted a position statement in support. The industry was unable to form a consensus around Ofcom's paper and Ofcom has been considering next steps since Feb 22.
INCA's Standards Group will continue to meet to discuss promotion of relevant standards for altnets. The Group page is here where you can signup to the mailing list and see the meeting schedule.
