Scaling Up Access to Infrastructure

As the independent networks scale up to deliver gigabit performance to homes and businesses right across the UK, access to network infrastructure is a key issue. This webinar digs in to the debate.

The event is structured in three parts:

The first looks at regulatory and compliance issues. In particular, the key issues of the new ATI regulations and the main requirements of the Project Gigabit as it comes closer to launching. This session will be led by regulatory expert Gita Sorensen and will have a Q&A session with the experts from DCMS.

The second session looks at some of the new developments around infrastructure data and information - helping operators to know what infrastructure is available, and what's in the ground to avoid! There will be presentations from Asset Hub, Geospatial Commission, the Telecoms Data Taskforce and CommScope on some of the latest developments.

The final part of the event is a panel discusson with some of the leading operators in this area - including Stephen Terry from Octopus, Bill Keddie from Truespeed and Shaun Fensom from CNI. The expert panel will share their experience on the benefits and challenges of sharing infrastructure. We'll also have a Q&A to enable participants to question the panel members.
