Help Build the 2026 State of the Altnets Report

Each year INCA partners with Point Topic and Assembly Research to publish our State of the Altnets Report. The report examines network coverage, customer take-up, investment levels, and the challenges facing the industry

This year’s report launches at Better Fibre Live on 11 March 2026.

The report provides policymakers and industry stakeholders with credible, data-driven insights into how independent networks are performing.

Your data is critical in producing an accurate and informed report.

Your responses create the evidence base that informs government policy, guides Ofcom decisions, and demonstrates the critical role independent networks play in delivering competitive, affordable broadband across the UK.

Your participation ensures the challenges and achievements of altnets are accurately represented in the conversations that shape our sector.

We need responses from all altnet operators, regardless of INCA membership.

The survey covers network coverage, customer metrics, investment plans, and sector challenges. It takes approximately 15 minutes to complete, and all responses are confidential and aggregated.

If different teams in your organisation hold different information, please share the survey link with them. We can collate multiple responses from the same organisation.
